PROFITABLE continued his rise up the sprinting ranks as he followed up success in the Palace House with a narrow win from Mecca’s Angle in the Temple Stakes.

However, the winner hung badly to his left in the closing stages, with both Profitable and Mecca’s Angel ending up hard against the far rail, and had to survive a stewards’ inquiry.
