It is probably Peyton Manning will confirm his retirement from football just three weeks after winning his second Super Bowl.

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will likely acknowledge his retirement from the NFL by the end of the week, according to Woody Paige of the Denver Post.

The report is hardly shocking, as many assumed Manning would call it a career after defeating the Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7.

The Broncos, however, deny Manning has made any decision on his retirement.

Patrick Smyth, Broncos Vice President of Public Relations, tweeted that a decision has not been made and that the team plans to continue to talk with him this week.

Manning is currently under contract with the Broncos for another season, but a decision on his retirement must come by March 9, when his $19 million for 2016 becomes guaranteed.
