Pete Rose’s lawyer has denied that the hit king endorsed Donald Trump.

Charlie isn’t hustling for Donald Trump after all.

On Sunday night, the GOP presidential candidate tweeted a photo of a signed baseball “Mr. Trump, please make America great again,” reportedly from Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer and disgraced slugger Pete Rose.

A day later, however, Rose’s lawyer disputed that the baseball even came from his client.

“We do not know how Mr. Trump got the ball. I can’t authenticate the ball from some Twitter picture,” Ray Genco told the Washington Post.

“I can’t speak to how Trump got the ball. Pete didn’t send it. I made that clear.”

ATHLETES AND SPORTS FIGURES THAT SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP

Trump’s tweet came just hours after the real estate tycoon invoked the banned ballplayer’s name at a stump speech in Ohio.

“We gotta let Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame,” Trump said at a speech in West Chester, according to Cincinnati.com.

The endorsement, however, appears to only go one way.

“Pete has made a point not to ‘endorse’ any particular presidential candidate,” Genco wrote later in a statement.

“Pete did not send any candidate a baseball or a note of endorsement. That said, through my discussions with Pete about this cycle, I’ve learned that he believes that who to vote for is a decision each voter should decide for him or herself. Pete knows and has impressed upon me that, above politics, it’s leadership and teamwork (that) make all the difference.

“Both the left and right are Baseball fans — and it is those institutions and their people that make America exceptional.”
