The Stockton Ports will host Asparagus Night on May 21.

The Stockton Ports, the high-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will done green garb for a special game in May.

“The world’s favorite vegetable? The famous staple Stockton is known for? You guessed it — ASPARAGUS! And we’ve got it!” the team wrote on its website.

“Enjoy a game centered around Stockton’s vegetable, and even have a chance to bid on your favorite player’s LIMITED EDITION asparagus jersey!”

The asparagus jerseys are dark green with large stalks of asparagus across the front, with the team name splashed across the chest.

Asparagus Night will be on May 21 against the Visalia Rawhide — the Arizona Diamondbacks Single-A team — and will also include post-game fireworks.

The Ports current roster includes former Mets prospect Casey Meisner.
