Matt Cassel isn’t a Bills quarterback for long last season.

Plenty of NFL players are receiving six-figure paychecks this week as performance-based pay is distributed throughout the league. It turns out one snap of football for a quarterback who didn’t throw a pass is worth something, albeit just enough to help pay the cable bill.

Matt Cassel technically started in Week 1 for the Bills against the Colts, lining up under center with Tyrod Taylor lined up at wide receiver in a Wildcat package. Cassel handed the ball off to LeSean McCoy, who was tackled for a loss of 6 yards on the play. Cassel’s strenuous effort netted him a total of $58.73, per USA TODAY Sports.

Cassel did take home $28,241.22 from the Cowboys, who traded for him after Week 2 when Tony Romo suffered a fractured collarbone in a win against the Eagles. Cassel made nine appearances for Dallas, throwing for 1,276 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions. He amassed a 1-6 record in seven starts.

Broncos center Matt Padaris took home the biggest performance-based payday, raking in $391,647.56.
