JOCKEY Wayne Hutchinson will have to pass the doctor at Cheltenham on Saturday if he is to take up some high-profile rides following a fall at Doncaster on Friday.

Hutchinson damaged a foot when falling from The Tourard Man at the second fence in the 3m novices’ chase at Doncaster.

Roderick Duncan, clerk of the course at Doncaster, said: “Wayne has injured his foot and has a red entry, but he has gone home.”

Hutchinson is in line to partner Smad Place in the BetBright Trophy Chase and Who Dares Wins in the JCB Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham.

Hutchinson has already missed one winner for his intended ride Big Chief Benny won Doncaster’s maiden hurdle under substitute rider Denis O’Regan.
