Supportive fans are the best fans.

Following a 109-104 loss to the Sichuan Blue Whales in the Chinese Basketball Association finals on Wednesday, the Liaoning Flying Leopards returned to their hotel for the night.

Upon arrival, however, they weren’t greeted by fans.

Or, at least, not their fans.

Instead, Sichuan fans waited in the lobby for the Leopards players as they departed their bus.

In a video posted online, a player in a red jacket starts yelling at the crowd, at which point both sides start going after each other.

Among players on the bus was former NBA player Lester Hudson, who now plays for the Leopards, but he appears to stay out of the melee.

Shavlik Randolph, who played college ball at Duke and then spent several years floating around the NBA, is also a Leopard.

Former NBA player Hamed Haddadi plays for the Blue Whales, as do Mike Harris and Justin Dentmon.
