Broncos Von Miller joins cast of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, known for his dance moves on the field, has joined the new season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Von Miller is ready to dab on the dance floor.

The Broncos linebacker will join “Dancing with the Stars” for the 22nd season, according to ESPN.

Miller, who was given the franchise tag from the Broncos, is well known for his dance moved during games, some of which have gotten him fined for excessive celebration.

His “Key & Peele” dance after a sack in October, for example, resulted in a $11,567 fine from the NFL.

“I like to dance,” Miller said during Super Bowl week.

“Sometimes I think about it; sometimes they just happen. But I dance at practice all the time, I just like to dance. I like to show emotion. I say you have a younger generation that pays close attention to that and that is what they follow. So give them something to follow, plus I just like it.”

The Super Bowl MVP will be the latest member of the “Dancing with the Stars” football club when he steps on the stage, joining a group that includes NFL legends Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith, Warren Sapp, Chad Johnson and Donald Driver.

The rest of the cast is expected to be announced on Tuesday on “Good Morning America,” but “Fuller House” star Jodie Sweetin; former Mrs. Donald Trump, Marla Maples; Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown; and “Good Morning America” meteorologist Ginger Zee have joined the show.
Season 22 premiers on ABC on March 21 at 8 p.m.

The finale — if Miller makes it that far — will take place around the middle of May, giving the linebacker plenty of time to re-focus on football.
