Broncos DE Derek Wolfe in alleged weekend bar fight

Months after the Broncos’ Super Bowl win, Derek Wolfe is still celebrating a little too hard.

The Denver defensive end is allegedly captured in the middle of a bar fight video posted online by TMZ early Tuesday morning.

The video shows Wolfe, in a black T-shirt and gold necklace at VIE Nightclub in downtown Denver, yelling at other clubgoers before unleashing a right cross — it’s unclear if the punch lands.

Witnesses told TMZ that Wolfe was hit in the face with a glass bottle and left the club bloodied.

Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe was allegedly in a bar fight in a Denver nightclub over the weekend.

“Derek talked to us on Monday about the issue, and it’s been addressed internally,” Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth told the Denver Post.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said that Wolfe is unlikely to face discipline for his alleged bar fight.

“We take a look at any such incident,” he told the Denver Post.

“But it doesn’t appear on its face to be something that would lead to league discipline.”

The Broncos veteran signed a four-year extension with Denver for $36.7 million in January.
