A day after Senators’ Bobby Ryan scored a goal which helped earn a lucky family a new dog, the Blue Jackets’ Cam Atkinson answered a young girls wish for a dog as well.

The girl was seen holding a sign that read, “Dad said if 13 scores on my birthday we get a dog.”
