But the mass resting did clear the way for San Antionio center Boban Marjanovic to earn some rare playing time. And the 7-3 Serbian made the most of his opportunity.

Marjanovic, 27, playing in his first season in the NBA, started the game for the Spurs. Early in the first quarter, he hauled in a rebound under the basket. After bringing the ball low to avoid the hands of Thunder big men Steven Adams and Serge Ibaka, Marjanovic burst upward and smashed home a thunderous dunk.

Keep in mind Ibaka is 6-10, Adams is 7-foot and both are renowned rim protectors.

Boban clearly doesn’t care, though.
