The David Ortiz retirement tour is making a stop in the luxury sportswear department at the mall.

The Boston Red Sox slugger will have his batting stance immortalized on a collector’s edition silk Tommy Bahama shirt, complete with his home run swing and his career highlights in front of the Green Monster.

DAVID ORTIZ, BY THE NUMBERS

“David fits into what we’re trying to do. He’s bigger than life,” Doug Wood, the company’s chief executive officer, told the Boston Globe.

“I’m a big baseball fan and when we heard David was retiring it made sense he should be on a special edition. We wanted a piece of that.”

Between 550 and 650 shirts will be made and sold for $250, debuting in Naples, Florida, on March 21 during an autograph event with Big Papi at a Tommy Bahama store and restaurant.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from the store that day will go to the David Ortiz Children’s Fund, which helps children in New England and the Dominican Republic who don’t have access to critical pediatric services.

Big Papi will become the first active player with his mug on a Tommy Bahama shirt, although retired Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Jackie Robinson have also been honored with limited edition wear.

Ortiz, who slugged his 500th home run against the Rays in September, announced his retirement following the 2016 season in a Players’ Tribune video in November.
