Scottish Premiership: Kilmarnock strike late to draw at Celtic; Hearts, Dundee & Livingston win

Not for the first time, home points dropped at Celtic Park. Not for the first time, a chorus of boos from the home fans despite the fact their team is still top of the league.

For how much longer, one wonders, with Rangers playing at St Johnstone tomorrow.

Once again, a failure to punish their opponents when they were ahead came back to bite Celtic. Two great saves from Will Dennis kept Kilmarnock in this one but make no mistake, Killie were well worth their point.

But for two terrific stops from Joe Hart, both from Liam Donnelly, the visitors might have been leaving with all the points and not just the one.

Kilmarnock were composed, organised and dangerous. With a depth of squad allowing them to bring on goalscorer David Watson, as well as Greg Stewart and Kevin Van Veen. It’s why they’re the fourth best team in the country and, on this form, destined to keep that top-six place.

As for Celtic, a match that promised so much, with Kyogo and Adam Idah dovetailing well for an hour, simply fizzled out. The additions from the bench seemed to add little, and now that real pressure is being applied from across the city.
