During halftime on Monday, the Sacramento Kings hosted a youth slam dunk contest on a plastic hoop — a better plan in principle than reality.

Three kids sat half-court and took turns dunking on the short hoop in front of three judges, including former Kings small forward Henry Turner, known for his elaborate dunks.

The three boys showed off their skills, which included turns and dribbles.
