Rex Ryan doesn't want to do another season of 'Hard Knocks'

Buffalo could fit the Bills for the NFL in the league’s search for a team for ‘Hard Knocks.’

Rex Ryan might be the only person in the United States who doesn’t want the Bills to be on “Hard Knocks” next season.

“I wouldn’t be happy about it, but I’d do it,” Ryan said Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine, via the Buffalo News.

The Bills are one of the teams that could be forced to do the HBO show since they do not have a first-year head coach, haven’t been to the playoffs in the last two years and haven’t been on “Hard Knocks” in the last 10 years. And while there are other teams that is true for to, the focus is on the Bills because they have the biggest star the show has ever seen: Ryan.

The TV show — which closely follows one NFL team during training camp each year — likely had its best season in 2010, when it featured the Jets. At the time, Ryan was the head coach, and he was exceptional television.

The then-Jets coach gave an unforgettable speech that infamously ended with, “Let’s go eat a g-ddamn snack.”

And Ryan still hasn’t lost his flair for giving a good quote. When asked about his defensive scheme on Wednesday, the Bills coach said, “Yeah, I tried to combine I think and that was a mistake. We’ve got to be all in, it’s kind of like being half pregnant. Forget that, we’re all in. We’re fully pregnant now.”

Uh, what?

Whatever Ryan meant by that, it certainly is…different.
