Kristaps Porzingis has fans on the Blueshirts.

The Rangers are like any other New York basketball fan: They can’t get enough of Kristaps Porzingis.

In a recent episode of the online video series “Boys in Blueshirts” filmed at a local bowling alley, Rangers defenseman Keith Yandle chose “Zingy” as his bowling name in a competition on the lanes with center Kevin Hayes (Hayzy) in homage to Porzingis.

“He’s been a little bit of a folk hero in our locker room here,” Yandle said Tuesday in Greenburgh at the Garden facility where both the Rangers and Knicks practice. “You follow the Knicks in our room and you follow what he’s doing. It’s great to see a young guy, a European, an underrated guy, come in and accomplish what he’s been able to so far. It’s pretty cool.”

Yandle claimed that the Rangers even refer to defenseman Marc Staal as “Staal-zingis,” but it was difficult to tell if he was serious. Either way, there’s no question that the Blueshirts bleed blue for the Knicks, as well.
