At least the Nets can claim to stand atop one NBA hierarchy.

Barclays Center ranked first in SI.com’s ranking of NBA arena floor designs, drawing praise for the herringbone pattern of the maple and the baseline team-name lettering, which mimics the tiled signage of the New York City subway system.

On Wednesday the Indiana Pacers polished that floor with the Nets, beating Brooklyn, 114-100, to give the home team its 10th loss in 11 games. The Nets, now 12-38, risk replacing the 76ers at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. (Philadelphia, which lost the first 18 games of the season, has improved to 7-42.)

“Still looking for a few good men,” said Nets interim coach Tony Brown after the game.

That will be tough to accomplish, as the general manager’s office remains vacant nearly a month after team owner Mikhail Prokhorov reassigned GM Billy King and fired head coach Lionel Hollins.

Brook Lopez had 21 points, 18 of them coming in the first half. Joe Johnson added 20 points, including 11 in the third quarter. C.J. Miles led the Pacers with 27 points.

Brown offered some hope Wednesday when he said rookie forward Chris McCullough, who had knee surgery more than a year ago, will “definitely” take the court after the Feb. 14 All-Star Game (where the Nets won’t be represented) — if not sooner.

“It’s a possibility that he could maybe get some minutes before the break,” said Brown of McCullough, the Nets’ first-round pick last year.

A 20-year-old Bronx native who spent one season at Syracuse before entering the 2015 draft, McCullough blew his knee out last Jan. 11 before the Nets took him with the 29th pick.

Brown said McCullough’s fellow first-round pick from last year’s draft, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, has been progressing. Hollis-Jefferson, who fractured the talus in his right ankle Dec. 5, is out of a walking boot.

“We want to see what these young guys can bring to our team, but we have to be careful with how we do that,” said Brown.

The one player in the Nets organization heading to Toronto for the All-Star weekend is Croatian-born 26-year-old Bojan Bogdanovic, who will play in the Rising Stars Challenge.
