Odell Beckham Jr. is one of four captains for the Pro Bowl.

One more honor for Odell Beckham Jr.: On Friday, the Giants star was named a team captain for the 2016 Pro Bowl.

Beckham was one of four captains chosen for the game, along with St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, Falcons running back Devonta Freeman and Bengals defensive lineman Geno Atkins. Beckham will team with Donald to help choose the one team, while Freeman and Atkins select the other squad as the NFL continues with the revised Pro Bowl format that debuted in 2014.

Beckham’s picks in the Pro Bowl selection process will get interesting if the Carolina Panthers lose in Sunday’s NFC championship game. If that happens, then Panthers corner Josh Norman would be eligible to play in the Pro Bowl. Would Beckham be willing to select Norman, the player who helped set him off when the Giants fell to the Panthers in late December? It remains to be seen.

The Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 31 in Aloha Stadium in Hawaii.
