The Thursday Night Football package will include pre- and post-game shows.

The NFL will stream its Thursday Night Football package on Twitter this season, league commissioner Roger Goodell announced Tuesday morning on Twitter, of course.

Twitter, according to Bloomberg, outbid Verizon, Yahoo and Amazon for the rights to carry the games. Facebook withdrew from the race last week, according to the report. The tech company paid less than $10 million for the package, Re/code reported.

The entire 10-game TNF package will be available via Twitter and will include pre- and post-game shows and “behind-the-scenes” periscopes, Twitter COO Adam Bain said. CBS and NBC split the broadcast rights for the games.

“Twitter is where live events unfold and is the right partner for the NFL as we take the latest step in serving fans around the world live NFL football,” Goodell said in a statement. “There is a massive amount of NFL-related conversation happening on Twitter during our games and tapping into that audience, in addition to our viewers on broadcast and cable, will ensure Thursday Night Football is seen on an unprecedented number of platforms this season. This agreement also provides additional reach for those brands advertising with our broadcast partners.”

The NFL signed a multiyear partnership with Twitter last year to deliver video and other content to fans on a daily basis.

The previous partnership, which expanded the NFL’s existing partnership with Twitter, included in-game highlights from pre-season through Super Bowl 50. Twitter’s Chief Financial Officer, Anthony Noto, held that same position with the NFL from 2008 to 2010.

Last season, the league streamed a live game for the first time with Yahoo! carrying the Oct. 25 Bills-Jaquars game from London.
