MORE OF THAT, second favourite for the RSA Chase, could run in the JLT Novices’ Chase, connections revealed on Thursday.

The JP McManus-owned eight-year-old, who has only been beaten once in his career, won the 2014 World Hurdle and is two from two since going over fences.

While appearing to have been lined up to take on favourite No More Heroes in the RSA over 3m, the shorter distance of the JLT would not be an inconvenience, according to McManus’ racing manager Frank Berry.

Asked if More Of That could run in the JLT, Berry said: “There’s every chance as he’s not short of pace. He’s in both, it won’t be decided until near the time. It’s up in the air and we will see what is running in which race.”

More Of That, trained by Jonjo O’Neill, has not run since taking his unbeaten record at Cheltenham to four when winning a 2m5f novice chase on December 12.

He is a best-priced 4-1 with bet365 and Coral for the RSA Chase and following the revelation, his odds for the JLT collapsed with both firms cutting him into 5-1 (from 10).
