Manny Pacquiao’s comments about homosexual relationships could see him lose his Nike sponsorship.

The apparel giant is on the verge of ending its relationship with the world-famous boxer, according to TMZ, after Pacquiao said people in same-sex relationships are “worse than animals.”

TMZ reports that though Nike hasn’t officially dropped Pacquiao yet, there’s support for such a move after discussions within the company.

Pacquiao, who is running for a Senate seat in the Philippines, later apologized but said he’s still “against same-sex marriage because of what the Bible says.”
