LeBron James is well aware that the media keeps its eyes peeled for every misstep he makes.

The Cavaliers’ star bashed the intense scrutiny of seemingly inconsequential incidents with a banana analogy.

“Why are you eating a banana, LeBron?” James asks the cameraman, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Are you gonna slip on a banana peel out of Cleveland?”

Most recently, James’ abrupt unfollowing of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Twitter page on March 21 created a firestorm of analysis surrounding what the social media faux pas indicated about his career in Cleveland. James dodged the question when he was asked about it on Monday, replying with the classic, “next question.”
