Kristaps Porzingis listed as questionable for Knicks – Jazz

Kristaps Porzingis has a bone bruise on his right foot.

Kristaps Porzingis is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz due to a bruised right foot, the Knicks announced on Tuesday.

Porzingis revealed that the injury is on his instep and that doctors are calling it a bone bruise.

Porzingis has played all 43 games of his rookie season, including last Saturday in Memphis despite having a sore right shoulder.

“Of course I want to play in every game but things like this are going to happen during my career.” Porzingis said after sitting out Tuesday’s practice.

Porzingis appeared to injure his foot when he landed awkwardly while jumping for a rebound in the fourth quarter of Monday’s double overtime win against Philadelphia.

PORZINGIS HELPS CARMELO AND KNICKS AS DECOY

Porzingis exited one minute later only to return with 13 seconds left in regulation. He was on the floor when Carmelo Anthony hit the game-tying three. Porzingis did not play in overtime.

“He’ll be fine,” Derek Fisher said. “We’re just not sure about tomorrow.”

The Knicks also said that Lance Thomas is questionable with a sore left knee.
