Jerian Grant’s minutes have risen slightly.

NEW ORLEANS – Kurt Rambis is sticking with what isn’t working.

The Knicks coach said his starting lineup will remain the same despite the team being eliminated from the playoffs, meaning rookie point guard Jerian Grant is still coming off the bench for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.

Rambis said nobody in the organization, including Phil Jackson, has given him instructions about giving more time to last year’s 19th overall pick. New York’s starting lineup Monday included three players in their 30s (Carmelo Anthony, Sasha Vujacic, Jose Calderon), one eight-year vet (Robin Lopez) and Kristaps Porzingis.

Asked if he’s curious how Grant would fare in the starting lineup, Rambis answered, “No, not really.

“The matchups are probably better suited for him coming off the bench and he’s learning things. His getting out there and seeing situations is good for him. But he’s like all young players. He’s making mistakes and we’re working on him to correct those mistakes. This year and the years to come it’s going to be a learning process for him. It’s still the toughest position in the NBA to learn.”

AFTER CUSE WIN, MELO DEALS WITH LETDOWN OF MISSING PLAYOFFS

Grant’s minutes had risen slightly in the weeks heading into Monday’s game, but he was averaging just 15.4 this season. He was shooting 38 percent in his rookie campaign with a 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Jackson acquired Grant on draft night by trading Tim Hardaway Jr., who lately has played prominent role on the playoff-bound Hawks.

“We’re still evaluating guys, we’re still looking at our team, we’re still looking at character and work ethic and behavior,” Rambis said. “There’s a lot of things that we’re looking at. We still want to drive the players to have this mindset to win ball games and they have to keep that mindset.”

Anthony, meanwhile, said he plans to play out the remainder of the season despite no possibility of the playoffs. Coming off knee surgery in February of last year, he entered Monday leading the Knicks in scoring, rebounding and assists.

“What is taking off two games going to do for me? What is taking off three days going to do for me if I got the whole offseason to get better,” Anthony said. “I haven’t even thought about that. My body feels good though. I haven’t even thought about sitting out and resting.”
