Brandon Marshall sides with Jets’ nemesis Tom Brady as the better quarterback but is rooting for Peyton Manning this Sunday.

Brandon Marshall sided with a Jets’ rival in an age-old debate.

The Jets wide receiver, in the midst of a TV blitz with Gang Green out of the playoffs, was asked on the “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” Wednesday night who he thinks is better: Tom Brady or Peyton Manning?

“Tom Brady is handsome,” Marshall said. “He has a supermodel wife. His wife makes more money than him. His hair is awesome. Brady.”

“Peyton Manning, though, has much more forehead,” Colbert quipped back. “He beats him on the forehead.”

Marshall didn’t list any actual on field reasons for Brady being better, but said he thinks Manning is going to hang up the cleats after this season, regardless of how it turns out.

“It kind of reminds me of watching Kobe Bryant, right? Where these last couple years, you’ve seen the guy really hit a wall,” Marshall said. “These are legends, living legends, and all of a sudden they can’t do it anymore, physically.”

But he is rooting for Manning, apparently.

“But I am a huge Peyton Manning fan,” Marshall said. “I am a fan of the redemption story, so hopefully he goes out there and wins and makes it to the Super Bowl.”
