Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley will not be charged in connection with a rape accusation by a woman at a Midtown hotel, a police official confirmed.

Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley will not be charged in connection with a rape accusation by a woman at a Midtown hotel, the Daily News has learned.

“He’s not going to be charged. There’s no criminality,” a high-ranking police official confirmed to The News.

The NYPD’s Special Victims Unit conferred with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office to reach the decision, the official said.

Bromley, 23, denied the charges from the beginning, sources said.

His accuser, a 26-year-old Brooklyn woman, told cops that Bromley agreed to pay for a sexual act but tried to do more against her during an encounter at the Hyatt Square Hotel early on Jan. 30.

She claimed she followed him outside and he drove off with her clinging to the hood of his car.

Sources told The News that police doubted her version of events early on.

Bromley’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, said he was thankful but not surprised by the news.

“As we stated from the outset, the allegations against Mr. Bromley were completely false. Today, Mr. Bromley has been officially cleared of all wrongdoing. We are thankful to law enforcement for their efforts, and are hopeful that the focus can now return to Jay Bromley’s remarkable story,” Spiro said.

The 6-foot-6, 306-pound athlete is a Queens native was raised by his aunt after his mother, a drug addict, abandoned him three months after giving birth.
