More Of That: is unbeaten at Cheltenham in four starts

JONJO O’NEILL on Sunday conceded he would have liked to given RSA Chase hope More Of That another run before Cheltenham, but if the ground has dried come Wednesday the eight-year-old will be tough to stop.

More Of That is vying for favouritism with No More Heroes in the ante-post market at a general 9-4, and like the Gordon Elliott-trained novice is unbeaten over fences.

However No More Heroes has had three starts compared to two for More Of That, and is also a dual Grade 1 winner with novice chase wins at Fairyhouse and Punchestown. More Of That has won twice at Cheltenham this season, but is yet to run in Graded company over fences.

Speaking on At The Races on Sunday, O’Neill said: “We would have liked to get a run into him, but that didn’t happen because of the ground. As everyone knows he’s a much better horse on better ground.

“He’s in good form and if the ground comes up good at Cheltenham on Champion Chase day then he’ll take a bit of beating. [No More Heroes] will be the one to beat but if [More Of That] is good enough then he’ll win.”

On Saturday the going at Cheltenham was described as soft, but the chances of More Of That being able to run on his favoured ground come Wednesday are encouraging, with no rain forecast for the next three days.
