Carmelo Anthony owns a full no-trade clause and controls where he plays.

TORONTO – Carmelo Anthony gave his most definitive statement about his commitment to the Knicks on Saturday, a day after the Daily News reported on talks that could send the star forward to Cleveland.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Anthony told Sirius XM radio on Saturday.

Anthony is one of the few players who can control his future because he owns a full no-trade clause. The News’ Frank Isola reported that Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers have discussed a blockbuster trade centered around Kevin Love – and that there were very preliminary discussions with the Knicks about expanding the deal to include Anthony.

ISOLA: BLOCKBUSTER BETWEEN KNICKS, CAVS, CELTS STILL A POSSIBILITY

The talks, which would include draft picks and players coming back to the Knicks, have not progressed. Anthony’s pledge to the Knicks on Friday was an alteration to his stance less than 24 hours prior. When asked if he thought about his future with a team that’s on a path of missing the playoffs for a third straight year, Anthony said, “Not yet. I’m pretty sure I’ll have that conversation with myself, and my family and my (advisors), but that’s not the conversation right now.”

He also acknowledged that he has a dream to team up with stars – something he would certainly do in Cleveland alongside his buddy LeBron James.

“I think everybody always kind of dreams and hopes that they can play with another great player, another star player,” Anthony said. “It’s a star players league. I think that’s what we all talk about every time we get together. ‘I want to play with you. I want to play with you.’ Even here different guys say, ‘Come play with me, come play with me.’

“That’s always the mind-set. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it don’t. I think everybody that’s in my situation, in my position, they all want the load off, especially the older that they get. You realize that you just can’t do it by yourself. Everybody knows that. … They realize it just doesn’t work like that.”

Phil Jackson had intimated this week that Anthony was untradeable, but only provided one reason: “I think it’s a known fact that Carmelo has a no-trade.”
