A 21-year-old player for a junior team in the Canadian Hockey League was hancuffed on the ice and arrested after a fight with the game’s official.

Olivier Marcotte, who plays for the Sherbrooke, Quebec, Hockey-Experts, tussled with a referee during a recent game and allegedly spit in the linesman’s face, according to CBC News.

Before he could throw a punch, Marcotte was pulled to the ice. Officials sat on the player while uniformed police officers came onto the ice to handcuff him.
