Binghamton Mets invite fans to ‘Netflix and Chill’

The Binghamton Mets tweeted out an invitation to “Netflix and Chill” at an April 12 event.

The Mets Double-A affiliate has a proposition for its fans.

“On a cold night in Binghamton is there anything better to do than #NetflixAndChill with your #BMets? No way!” the Binghamton Mets tweeted Monday night.

Netflix and chill, of course, is a trendy euphemism for an evening of sex rather than a themed event from a baseball team.

The team quickly deleted the post, instead tweeting that “April 12th is a salute to our favorite Netflix shows on a chilly April night at the ballpark with the @bmets #jumpingtoconclusions.”

Maybe Binghamton is just trying to relate to its former player Matt Harvey, whose Bravo interview included talk of threesomes, the Mile High Club and hookups on a baseball field.
