Is there anything Mike Trout can’t do?

The Angels All-Star center fielder proved he is more than just a ballplayer on Saturday as he joined The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore to report on the blizzard that has rocked the northeast.

Cantore introduced Trout, who joined him via phone from his hometown of Millville, NJ, as a “huge weather nerd, weather geek,” before the 2014 AL MVP delivered his report.

“It’s been crazy. Obviously I’ve been up all night, up every hour checking the measurements,” Trout said. “We’ve probably got about a foot and it’s coming down steady now. The wind is just the worst part about it. It’s blowing hard, by my parents house there’s four, five, six-foot drifts. The roads are terrible, it’s awesome. I love it.”

Trout even had an electric company source who told him 40,000 were without power, mainly by the Jersey Shore.
