Marshawn Lynch rides camel, tours pyramids in Egypt

Marshawn Lynch is clearly enjoying pseudo retirement.

The former Seattle Seahawks running back rides a camel through the desert in a new video, rapping along to Bay Area rapper Tay Way.

“We ghost-riding the camel right now, you feel me?” Lynch says in the video.

The running back is currently in Cairo as part of the fourth annual American Football Without Barriers camp.

The organization, founded by New York Jets offensive lineman Breno Giacomini and Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge in 2011, aims to globalize American football and provide fitness opportunities for underprivileged youth.

Lynch is joined by Giacomini, Barnidge, linebacker Barkevious Mingo, defensive end Johnson Bademosi, Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams, Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron, Houston Texans offensive lineman Oday Aboushi, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Colby Cameron and free-agent fullback Erik Lorig, according to the Seahawks.

The 10-man contingent rode their camels to the Great Pyramid of Giza on Monday, then toured the Sphinx and the U.S. Embassy in Egypt.

Marshawn Lynch and other NFL players are in Egypt as part of American Football Without Barriers.

“Trying to climb through the pyramid’s tunnels to get to the tomb was something else,” Barnidge wrote on the AFWB Facebook page.

“Definitely not made with big people in mind…My back was killing me after making that TREK!”

The group will team up with the Egyptian Federation of American Football (EFAF), the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to teach football to more than 450 Egyptian players and fans.

They’ll also spend two days doing community outreach in Egypt, including a visit to a children’s cancer hospital.
