Carmelo Anthony is an NBA All-Star Game starter for the seventh year in a row.

Carmelo Anthony barely survived a late push from Pau Gasol in the All-Star voting, securing enough support to start for the seventh straight time, the NBA announced Thursday.

Anthony finished just 360 votes ahead of Gasol, who made a big jump in the last week while leapfrogging Detroit’s Andre Drummond among Eastern Conference frontcourt players. Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis finished sixth in that category and will likely miss the big game on Valentine’s Day in Toronto. The Latvian is a shoe-in, however, for the Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend.

Kobe Bryant garnered the most votes overall (1,891,614) for what will be his 20th and final All-Star Game. Stephen Curry (1,604,325) and LeBron James (1,089,206) were the other players reaching seven digits.

Not surprisingly, zero Nets players were near the top vote getters in any category. The strangest result was role player Zaza Pachulia of the Mavericks finishing fourth among Western Conference frontcourt players, just about 14,000 votes shy of a starting spot.
